Why Does This Lesson Use 29 Practice Items?
A Qaida-style teaching convention
Arabic is commonly described as having 28 letters. Some Quran-learning and Qaida teaching traditions teach Hamzah separately from Alif, creating a 29-item teaching set.
This lesson follows that 29-item practice convention for beginner revision. Actual Quranic spelling and pronunciation should be learned from a reliable Qaida and qualified teacher.

Common Mutaharrikat Mistakes
What parents and beginners should watch for
Unnecessarily Stretching a Short Vowel
Practise Fathah, Kasrah and Dammah clearly and briefly rather than deliberately lengthening them.
Memorising Only BA-BI-BU
Recognition should still work when cards are shuffled.
Ignoring the Harakah
The same base letter can produce different combinations when the Harakah changes.
Depending Only on Browser Speech
Browser speech can support practice, but should not replace teacher correction.
